On October 8, 2006 the Michigan Institute for Human Performance (MIHP) held its 11th Annual Circuit-a-thon fundraiser, in memory of Sherry's husband Doug, a loving father, husband and friend to many.

Donations went to Families for Depression Awareness to help families with depressive disorders.
